How likely is it that someone gets no bids or gets dropped from every house? I'm planning on doing formal spring rush at my school and i'm really nervous that no one will want me.My school is not big, its only 10,000 people. But I'm not very extroverted , and not your typical preppy blonde skinny girl. I'm just really nervous.

Get out of your head the idea that Greek life is only for "typical preppy blonde skinny girls. " I'm fairly certain that one close look at the websites of your campus's chapters would prove that notion wrong.

We can't give you odds as to whether you'll get a bid or not. The most important things are to keep an open mind, don't listen to or read rumors about stereotypes of chapters, and remember that rush is supposed to be fun. If you're worried about being shy, you have all of winter break to work on that. Go to the mall and have conversations with the clerks, just to get used to talking to random people. Figure out what you want to wear and make sure it all fits and is flattering. Good luck!!

Also just to add on and answer part of your original question, if you don't meet the grade requirements for greek life at your school, that will likely impact you negatively as far as possibilities of getting a bid. So please make sure you've researched that before entering recruitment because that's key. You might hit it off fabulously with the ladies of ABC, XYZ, and DEF, but if you don't meet school's the grade requirements you'll likely get cut. Best of luck!
