Go Blue in 2002?!?!

I just got a letter in the mail about the 2002 Michigan Football tickets. I cannot believe that they won't let girls bring purses in. What if you have unmentionables that you gota bring with u? This happened to me last year and I just snuck my purse under my sweatshirt. Also, parents cannot bring strollers or diaper bags. Stollers I can understand.... you're at a freaking stadium.... but diaper bags? If they're gona let children into the games, they should let the diaper bags too. I know the athletic dept is looking out for our safety, but please.... that's bringing it a lil too far.

Anyways.... does anyone else have Michigan football tickets? I can't wait to get mine to see how far I've moved in the stadium. My first year I was row 89... last year I was further towards the 50 and lower.... I can't wait to see this year!

It was like this last October at the OU-Texas game last year (the only game I was able to make it to). They didn't say 'no purses' but they did search bags and have some pretty serious security.

As A UM Alumnae

I personally wouldnt be bringing any babies or toddlers to the games with me anyways. To much going on. I know my junior year going to a game we brought water bottles cuz for the first game against ND, it was like 93 out and even hotter in the stadium and people were fainting all over, they wouldnt let us bring them in. Even if they werent opened. I had to toss mine out at the gate. I can see a purse b/c it can get stolen easily. Better get the portables and stick them in a pocket :)
I didnt get alum tickets this year (I hear there is like a 3 year waiting list for season), but might get one fo my sorority sisters to find me one for Homecoming against Iowa. The closest I had was section 31 row 28....pretty decent. The worst section 29 row A, allllllllllll the way at the top. :p

Who's got tickets for this year? And where are they?

mine are
Sec 29, Row 29, Seat 6.

Where do u tailgate? We're always on the golf course, right near the entrance from State Street by the tracks.

What has become of the Big House? There are 7 of us that have tickets. If the 4 girls who didn't come today were there, they woudln't have been able to sit or stand on the bench. Why? Cuz our bench was totally broken! UGH!!!!

There are some Alpha Phis that sit near us, and I saw some AGD's... cute rush shirts, or whatever those are!

I think I asked this again, but for ANYONE that has tickets.... where are urs?

Mine again are Sec 29, Row 29 seat 6.... I'll be wearing my letters to the next game so look for Phi Mu!

Yesterday was the first time I was hanging out in Ann Arbor on a game day. We went across the street and tailgated with DU, barbequing and playing football on the front lawn. People were walking and driving by, screaming and holding signs. This one group of guys painted themselves blue and each had a yellow letter of M-I-C-H-I-G-A-N on their chests...cleaning that off must be pretty gross. :p

Yeah Leslie. There's a guy in Sec 28, and he's got a pretty hairy chest. So you can pretty much guess what he did.... yep shaved a big M!!!

I've never seen so many Michigan superfans at a game before, cept maybe the State game, which I can't wait for!

Just my .02 cents, but your team did not deserve to win yesterday. I swear, all those missed field goals I thought I was watching a Florida State game! Poor Washington losing due to 12 men on the field.

I get what ur sayin. Michigan did play like crap, with the exception of a few players. It's Navarre... he just plain ol SUCKS! It's a shame that Drew is gone. He was a hottie, and an awesome quarterback.

It was Washington's own fault that they had 12 on the field. Did they not realize it, or know about it and try to get away with it?

It's wins like these that makes a good game even more awesome. Fortunately for the Wolverines, Michigan came out on top.

Hey, no one ever said life was fair :D

If it was, Michigan would have been that National Champs outright in 1998 ;)

PM Mama- Those shirts have to be the ones that the OGL has everyone wear the first week of school, and even if they aren't...*makes note* must *ahem* steal, I mean borrow cute shirt from one of my lovely AGD sisters when I go down to help with Recruitment. I think they are still doing renovations on the Big House also so hopefully that bench will get fixed :) I just got my M Den catalog today and am waiting to order stuff.
I am just hoping that there are tickets still available for the Wisconsin game or Homecoming. There still were according to the website.

Leslie- DU is so lucky, they only have like 20 guys living in that huge house. Do you know where TEP moved too since the house was DU's orginally? I may be an alum, but I'm playing ball on that lawn.

Actually Tonya, I think it's more like 10 guys living in that huge house! It looks like they're doing a complete remodel...they're working so hard! I'm really not sure where TEP moved but I can try to find out.
