New Car and Crashes
 

Must be an epidemic! Yep, some !@#!@#@!# bozo hit "my" new car!

Friday, hubby and I were planning on heading to Chiefland, Fl (about an hr from Gainesville, 200 yards from real Suwanee River). He offered to come pick me up since me driving home would waste a little over an hour. He was 5 min. from my job when a @#$@#$#@ with a broken-arm-in a-wrapped-bandage-instead-of-a-cast, attempting driving a 97 stick-shift Corolloa which her mother had bought her because I think she wrecked her other one, banged into him. It just put a dent in the left side of the fender and the truck door had to be closed with a coat hanger from the inside..soo.. we left 1.5 hours later than we intended.

Traffic was terrible on the way down with rain and construction. Unfortunately, there was a deadly accident just north of Valdosta heading north. I think that there were 2 semi's tangled and ran over 4 cars/burst into flames. Not sure how many people were killed. We got in at 11:30.

Still recovering from the sinus problem I had earlier in the week, work is @#$@, but other than that, everything is peachy! ;)

WoW. What a bad day. Tomorrow can only be better!!!:) If this is that girls second wreck, esp in a one week period, maybe her ins will cancel her and she wont be able to drive anymore!! We can only hope.

I was in that mess on 75 but we got out pretty quickly. Four people died in that accident. SOOOO SAD!:(

I said it before to Lisa, and its very true: you can always fix or replace a car. Its the people inside that can't be replaced.

Turns out that van was from a church in the next town. They were coming back from a Florida fun trip..mothers and children. :(

Actually I was madder at the work situation than the car, lol!
