What is Preference night
 

I attended informal rush last night for Alpha Xi Delta and I got a phone call after I got home last night inviting me back to the house tonight for their Pref night. During formal rush I know that there is a Pref night and it includes more than one sorority. I know tomorrow is Bid Day, so what will go on tonight?

Tonight you'll participate in a serious-themed ceremony in which sisters will share with you their intimate thoughts about AZD and their chapter. Most pref ceremonies are beautiful and steeped in meaning for their members.

While it is not a guarantee, it is a very good sign that you were invited back for Prefs, as it means the chapter is seriously considering you for membership.

Just thought that I would update this....tonight I was offered a bid into AZD, I accepted and tomorrow is Bid Day!!! Thanks for all of the advice!
