Skits for Skit Night
 

I was wondering what people do for their skits during formal recruitment? My chapter's skit is the Wizard of Pi and following that blue and white road. And the idea there is no place like adpi.

we've been using total request pi the past few years... i was the chair for skit nite last year... it was really good... everyone was talking about it the next day! carson "delta" is the host, we used the songs follow me, come on over, and dirty pop... if anyone uses any different songs or is using new songs for this year, lemme know! we even have a commercial break with a commercial in the middle for one of our philanthropy events the we tape before hand :)

my chapter's skit is ADPIRATES.....from peter pan...its about a girl who is going through formal recruitment but she is confused on where she wants to go. peter pan helps lead her to find the treasure which is the "adpi treasure." its really cute!!! :)

haha peter pan sounds cute... we have a skit -an old one- that we do during cob during sisterhood events with adpirates... it's really silly and cute:D

We've done a grease skit for a couple of years now and it is great! I am FRC this year and I have it if anyone needs a copy! Just email me! L&L GB

Let's see we've done a bunch of different skits.
We also did ADPirates which was pretty cute.
"King of the Jungle" good decorations with that one.
Grease was okay, not great, it's a little over done for us now.

Hello, I would like to get a copy of the grease skit adpiprincess! :)

This year, our theme was Grease, so our tshirts said "Alpha Delta Pi Pink Ladies" on the front and "Haven't you heard? ADPi is the word" on the back with a picture of the pink ladies from Grease (with Greek Week 2008 on the back too) Our skit was a compilation of several of the songs from Grease. We had girls wearing cheerleading outfits, poodle skirts, and some with the leather jacket + capris. We had tons of fun with it. We even had a sister come out on the stage carrying a homemade silver car.:)

We did the Wizard of Pi for a while, and we're doing something new this year... I think it's called Diamond Mine. It's cute!

In previous years my chapter has done a Greese skit, a mtv spring break skit, and like an mtv awards skit. All were really cute...especially the Greese skit if that helps :-)

Also my chapter has to come to up with a new skit this year. If anyone has a copy of the Wizard of OZ skit please email it to me!

We Need Skit help!!
 

We are a small chapter looking for some skit ideas and scripts for recruitment. They haven't really gone to well the last couple years so we really want to try something new or a script that we know has worked for other chapters.

We did a very elaborate CHICAGO skit last year. We changed the songs in the musical so that they would be about ADPi. One of the songs was "Sisters" instead of "Roxy." In the cell-block tango we changed the words to be things associated with ADPi....diamonds, violets, etc... It was very cute and we were very proud of it. However, some of the singing was really hard so we were lucky we had some very talented singers in the group. Its a good skit but takes a lot of practice time!

Our chapter had a take on Mean Girls -- we're at UCLA so we had a PNM try to find her way to a premiere party -- on the way she met girls who were all dancing, singing, whatnot at the party... she got lost and everyone helped her... when she arrived, the "plastics" revealed that they all knew each other because of ADPi and their bonds were strong because they praised each of their sister's talents and strengths.

this year we are apparently doing Gossip Girl where Jenny is a PNM finding her place with the help of Serena and Blake who help her find ADPi. we'll see how that goes.
