Random Pi Phi contact!
 

We just got back from picking our sons up at camp and while I was in the bathroom there, wearing a letter shirt, a woman turned to me and exclaimed, "I'm a Pi Phi! Florida Beta!" We got all excited and talked and talked (I haven't seen another Pi Phi in years) while our kids were dying of embarrassment on the spot.

I love it when that happens!I wore my shirt to Disney a couple of years ago and met a Florida Epsilon who was operating the Pirate ride.

Now I am going to go write a rec for an A#1 top grade rushee. I am truly in a Pi Phi MOOD!

My ARROW came Wednesday, and I've read the cover article about the changes that are in store. I'm so excited!

How fun, Carnation!

The first random Pi Phi contact I had was when I was voting for student government (I think I was still pledging). A bunch of the girls and I walked over to the Law Library after dinner to go vote and the woman who was checking us off on the lists commented that it was nice we all came together. Then she saw my Pi Phi grab-a-date shirt and said, "Oh, I'm a Pi Phi, too!" (from a New England-area school, I think.) Anyway, she was the sweetest thing and she was at least 80 years old! That made my day.
