Busting a fake Kappa Sigma in Key West
 

Hey guys sorry i haven't been on in awhile, but school's been insane. Anyways, i took my pledges on their retreat to Key West over the weekend...had a blast!!!!! Anyways, I told my guys to go hang out by themselves for a couple of hours while my asst and I went down to Margaritaville. Well, I saw a guy at the bar wearing KE letters. So i got my drink and was like hey where are you a K-sig at? He was like huh?!??! What are you talking about dude(he was in his mid 30's). I was like well your wearing a Kappa Sigma FRATERNITY shirt so i assume your a brother. He's like oh thats what these letters are for, i knew it was a frat shirt. I just use it to pick up girls and makes me look cool. Im like ok whatever moron, hope you don't run into any brothers. He says, i can pass off as a frat bro man. So i finished my drink and i said man your such a tool dude. And then get this....he says,"hey at least i don't pay for my friends." I was like what?!?!?! So does that mean your pretending to buy your friends?!?!?! I just laughed and walked out. So if any of you K-sigs go down to K-West and see a guy walking around in your letters give him a beat-down. Hope everyone's summer C is going great cause i finish up on July 31st! Have a good weekend....im heading to orlando for a fun filled KD weekend baby!!!!! :-)

PS. And its Ironic because Jimmy Buffet is a K-Sig from USM.

I've heard of this kind of thing happening, but you would never think it would be your own GLO.

I hope this guy runs into one of my brothers and gets the sh*t kicked out of him. What an idiot!

Think about it this way:

If this idiot really is in his 30s, then he is using what i would call a "desperation tactic" to try and score with girls. Now, if he wants to use a GLO as a method, then his target age for girls should be in their late teens and early twenties, girls that were born when he was maybe 15. Plus add to the fact all the career women in THIER 30s that look at this guy and laugh. AND notice he said the letters made him look cool yet he finds that we're all paying for our friends.

Now, if girls don't see him for what a loser he is........

Dionysus is right that a beat down is bad; but if some one gets caught it is their fault. Still, fighting is wrong! To till you the truth, I don't know what I would do.

You might have the satisfaction from giving this perp a beat down, but what do you gain beside assault charges and a court date? :confused:

I know that you are using the term facetiously, but don't promote violence. Just ask for the shirt or something....It's not worth a fight. Laugh your ass off in his face, but Honeykiss1974 is right, it's not worth a court date/probation/a record.

Yeah, I don't think a beat-down is the proper way to go about it, even though he may deserve it.....

I once saw a kid wearing an AChiO shirt while he was walking down the sidewalk near our house. I asked him if his mom or sister was a member, and he had no clue what I was even talking about. So I asked him where he got it, and he said Goodwill - for $1.00. So, I said, would you take $3.00 for it....and he said yes. Thankfully it was warm out because I left with the shirt and made sure it got back to an AChiO.

if someone who wasn't frat was wearing some nalia....he's either taking it off, or i'm taking it off for him.
