I have to brag about my dear old Region Ten. Looks like seven of nine chapters won Order of the Quill....and SWT... are my eyes playing tricks on me or did you guys get an award for having the highest GPA in the Fall?

I am so proud of all that our chapters are doing!!!

Thanks! Here at SWT, we have been trying to over power Chi-O for about ten years and it finially paid off. They have always come in about one, one-hundreth of a grade point better than us! I'll have to check that list out!

Yeah, we here at SWT are pretty excited about that! We also cleaned house in campus greek awards.

We're all excited about how well our chapter did at the convention...Order of the Quill, Financial Efficiency, a couple others I can't remember, and our advisor got an award for being one of the top 7 chapter advisors in the nation!

Zeta Xi
 

I'm so proud of my Zeta Xi!!! We got 3rd in Philanthropy! And I found out today that it didn't even include our massive Rib-Tasting we had in April! At the Rib Tasting, we raised $12,000 for Partnership for Children (a local organization chaired by two of our alums and goes to provide money for day care to families in Lee county who can't afford it).

I have to say that I was at TLC, and was totally amazed by the chapters who got Philanthropy awards! I'm way impressed! My chapter always has problems with philanthropy's, but I got some great Ideas from the other girls at TLC.

I'm bumping this thread b/c I need to brag. :D

The Epsilon Gamma chapter (my alma mater) received the following awards at their Order of Omega awards banquet this past spring:

• Overall Excellence in Recruitment/Membership Intake
• Overall Excellence in New Member Programming
• Overall Excellence in Community Service
• Excellence in Risk Management
• Overall Excellence in Alumni Relations
• Sorority Chapter of the Year
• Outstanding Sorority Intramural Team
• Sorority Intramural Champions

Also, at TLC in June, they were recognized for the following:

• Order of the Quill Award
• Chapter Quota Award
• 1st place in the Philanthropy Service Award

Also, their chapter advisor was recognized for advisor excellence in the southeast territory.

They're doing a great job! And they get to move into the new greek village at the end of the month (I'm so jealous!).

Just wanted to let everyone know that Shelby Krebs recieved All Greek Woman of the Year and recognition for something she did for WGRLC. We also got 3rd in Greek Games, Best Participation in Day of Caring and Campus Service.
