The more I listen to this man...
the more I am convinced he is an imbecile. I'm talking about Dubya. I listen to him strictly for entertainment purposes, only. Ok, the other day, he was doing a press conference. He looks to one of the reporters and says, "Go ahead, uh..." looks at a chart of names, then continues to say, "well, go ahead with your question, it says 'no name' here." I was like, WTF? This man says whatever he wants when it's not scripted. I think I thought that as time passed, he'd get better at this, but he still sucks. So today, I'm listening to him in Birmingham, and he's talking about people having confidence in America and spending their money, all this. So then he says, "We have confident people and we have non-confident people, or people who aren't confident." Ok, wtf? This man is a nut.

LOL
Old George is different, ain't he? He is lost without a script, or teleprompter. Makes you wonder about the validity of genetics, since his dad was, and is still quite sharp. It's all good though... he doesn't pretend. Still, I'd rather hear him talk than our own Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan and most recently, Michael Jackson.

LOL !!! :D :D I agree with you guys. I seriously think that there may be some MILD MENTAL RETARDATION in this man. If the president can't think on his feet ON HIS OWN sometimes, then our country is in BIG trouble. Just think, with all of the trouble that they went through in order to get him in office, you'd think that he was all of that. I'm just wondering WHO in all of God's creation is going to be our NEXT president (Oh, and I DO plan to vote as usual). But it really kinda scares me.

Just today I was listing to a speech where Dubya was making some statements about the state of the economy, particular as it was related to the stock market. He said something to the effect that the market must recover from the hangover that it is experiencing as the result of recent binges.
Now is it just me, or is it a little odd that the president-select, an "ex"-alcoholic, is using alcohol metaphors in his speeches. You gotta wonder what the man is thinking. I'll tell you, it sure didn't inspire any confidence in this consumer. |
