Alpha chapter
 

Does anyone know if Hunter College, which was the home of the alpha chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma, still have a Phi Sigma Sigma sorority? I was just wondering because my sapphire sister (phisigmeg01) and I went to NYC and took pictures in front of the school and took pictures to show our sisters. But we were just curious to know if Phi Sigma Sigma still even existed at the college. If anyone knows please reply.

I visited Hunter in Nov., Sadly our oldest active chapter is Delta at SUNY Buffalo.

I dont know if you know the story of Alpha and Alpha Alpha....

When Hunter's campus split in 1968, Alpha chapter split too and installed Alpha Alpha at Lehman college in the Bronx. Both are inactive. (our chapter roll goes Alpha to Omega, then Beta Alpha to Beta Omega - unlike most orgs which after Omega open Alpha Alpha.)

I dont think the CUNY system has greeks anymore. But after graduation I want to look into grad school at Hunter and I would love to re-found Alpha.
