airbrush tanning

Self tanner applied by a salon technician, via airbrush (Like the kind they paint t-shirts w/)- It's supposed to be the most even coat possible. And E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E and limited-availability, too. I'm sure you can get it down south, though.

We have a process called Mist On Tanning where I live. You get into a booth and these mist-ers coat you with the tanning solution. It takes about 1 minute. Then you get out, buff, dress and you have a lovely golden tan. It works great. More expensive than UV tanning but so much faster and safer. It only takes one or two visits (debending on your skin color) to acheive a healthy looking tan. Geez I sound like an infomercial :p

Where?

Where are you from? Mist on sounds really cool- wonder if we have it here!

Here's the website:

www.mist-on.com

Supposedly lasts for 5-7 days.

If anybody does this, please let me know how it goes!

Yeah, I've been wanting to try mist-on for my wedding! I usually just apply self-tanner myself, but inevitably I end up with a streak somewhere.

Oh, and a word of advice in case you ladies ever go to a salon and have them put self tanner (cream) on you...MAKE SURE they do all areas. I went to a place (very reputable, I might add) and they skipped my hands, knees, and elbows, saying that those were "tricky" areas. HELLO! That's why I paid YOU to do it!

$30 is a lot less expensive than I'd heard...

Wow- If it's only $30, I'd definately look into it! All I've heard about it said it was a lot more expensive, you know? You should probably try it out beforehand, though, or see it on somebody else- if it's awful your whole "Rush Look" would be ruined! :p

No Way- That's awesome!!! I'm going to call them after work tomorrow and find out details! I'll post 'em so you can see the details, Ashley...:)

Sun and Soul

'Called Sun and Soul about Mist-On. They definately do it- Only $20 and it's supposed to last for a week. HOWEVER, a girl I work with says she tried it there and was REALLY unhappy with the results. It wasn't orange or streaky- she said it just wasn't there at all!!! According to Jessica (That's her name), she walked out of the room expecting to be all nice and brown and her skin was barely a shade darker. I think I may try it in the next couple weeks and then, if I like it, I'll do a couple applications right before Rush! :) (LOL- Thanks for the idea, Ashley- we'll be the only 2 cool Beta Eta's with fake tans! :) )
