GLO Pin Collectors
 

I am a reporter in New York City working on an article about Greek Letter Organization Pin Collecting--and those who try to thwart non-member ownership of fraternity/sorority pins. (The selling of pins on eBay has made this a growing problem, apparently.) I have been in contact with a KKG alumnus who works very hard to keep auctioned pins "within the family." I'm curious to learn if other organizations are doing the same, etc. etc. etc.

Not sure if you are telling the truth, but yes, there are members who try to keep our Badges in house so to speak!

I and other members of LXA are doing just that!

i know that there are several other people from different Oganizations doing the same thing and we pass the info on to each other!

There is a group of KD's (including me) who watch our pins go to one specific collector EVERYTIME one of OUR PINS is on EBAY!!
IT drives us crazy! We would prefer our pins not to go to non members, but as long as auction sites like Ebay exist, there's nothing we can do.
