Just do it
The essence of Greek life is friends.
Get a group of friends together, find a faculty advisor, and register as a student group (if that is a possibility or requirement). Registering will probably allow you to use a meeting room free, maybe get your picture in the yearbook, and maybe compete in intramurals or whatever you want to do. There is no minimum number to start. If the advisor has been a GLO member, it would help - but is not necessary. Investigate and learn the rules for starting new groups. Many of the frequent posters here were founders or charter members of their chapter - it's a very memorable and worthwhile work. Just do it - and keep us posted. |
Short and sweet this time...
Hell yah! I'm a founding father of my chapter and I wouldn't have had it any other way. The experience of founding a chapter is unlike anything else. Just do it. |
Hoosier very well said!
I hope all of you read this and respond to what a good individual with the Greek Feeling said! :) |
