Did any of you ladies go? How was it? Win any awards? Meet some cool people?

I want to go to Convention so bad...I hope DG decides to come to a city near me eventually.

Convention was wonderful!
 

I attended convention in San Antonio. It was just wonderful. I don't have time to list all the awards, but University of Florida won the top large chapter in the country and a record number of chapters won the Patricia Danielson award - I think 47 won!
Heloise was also initiated as a sister - you know from Hints from Heloise in the newspaper - she was just lovely. She has wanted to be a DG for years and now she is one! Convention next year is in Washington, DC - so hope to see you there!

Yay! I'm from the DC metro area, however I have no idea where I'll be in 2 years. I'm glad to hear that you had a good time - I'm eagerly awaiting our summer newsletter from our president with her stories. I know we won the PPD and an award for our webpage.

Let me just say that Convention was absolutely wonderful! My chapter had the privilege to host Convention. We performed initiation infront of everyone and it was absolutely overwhelming being on stage infront of so many women who share the same bond! Having Heloise there was especially thrilling! I don't have many updates on the awards so sorry I couldn't help you there! :( But I can't wait for the next one! :D :D :D
