Sisterhood

Duh, obviously all of us are full of sisterly love or else we wouldn't be here, RIGHT? Well, my chapter was slightly lacking in the sisterhood department last semester. At least this is the way I was feeling and many others were feeling we were forming random cliques that excluded some of the other sisters. I'm hoping it was just end of the semester stress and we will move on from it when classes begin again. But...the purpose of this letter was to ask any of you out there if you have any good idea for sisterhood functions that people would really want to participate in. Many of the concerns I get from girls is that they don't like spending too much money, so I was hoping for some interesting ideas from you guys that we could do within the house. What ever advice anybody has I would really appreciate it!! :) Thanks so much!!!

Has your chapter ever tried a candlepassing? Where you pass around a lit candle (or a teddybear) & just pour your heart out about a topic?

Usually the president starts it off, stating the purpose of the group ("My greatest hopes for our chapter this year are..") and it goes on from there. It can get rather time-consuming, but it's a great way to get the grief off your back.

AOT!

Thanks for your ideas!! We do do candlepassings, we usually do one during work week before formal recruitment and sometimes during the year. I have never heard of the progressive dinner though, that sounds like a lot of fun!
Thank you girls! I really appreciate it!
