WHY DO YOU COLLEGE STUDENTS HAVE SOROTIES IN THE STATES,UP HERE IN CANADA NO SUCH THING EXISTS!IS THERE ANY ADVANTAGES TO HAVING SUCH CLUBS OR ORGANIZATIONS?

Fraternities and sororities are not unique to just the United States. GREEK LIFE ALSO EXISTS IN CANADA. Just ask our Canadian brothers and sisters that frequent the boards.

According to www.canadiangreeks.com, there are 14 NPCs, 26 NICs, 2 non-NPC sororities, 3 non-NIC fraternities and 18 locals (women's and men's) in Canada on 26 Canadian campuses!

And just FYI, my organization, Alpha Gamma Delta, is present at 7 Canadian college campuses: UBC, U of Alberta, U of Calgary, U of Manitoba/Winnipeg, U of Toronto, UWO, and Dalhousie. If I'm not mistaken, we have the most chapters in Canada! ;) :D

Nightcrawler I see you are from Montreal: both McGill and Concordia have fraternities and sororities.

Personally I am from a sorority at the University of British Columbia.
