I know the show Sorority Life is getting beaten to death on GC but i was wondering if watching that will help me better understand Greek Life or if sororities are different from on the show. Lil sister

Personally i believe that the show is a farce. MTV edits the hell out of it to look like a stereotypical dumb house full of ditzy bitchy girls.

Here is a link from Reality TV Fans that does a good job of explaining national as opposed to local sororities (like Sigma AEPi). There are some overgeneralizations but this is pretty close.

i think it does an ok job...it's reality tv, so what you see actually happens. however i dont think it shows the bonds, and true experiences that greek life has to offer. the last one i saw showed a pledge event and partying...well those are 2 parts of greek life. i guess we will have to see the entire show to see how it portrays greek life.
