Still more Philosophy- do we exits?

Like I said before I like Philosophy. Another guestion, How do we know we exist? How can we prove that argument? So again lets hear those arguments!

Too cute but I was hoping for some more philosophical (sp) answers! But oh well. maybe someone else is imagining us and we are just a part of their mind? This is just an example. Does anyone else enjoy going into deep thought about this kind of stuff? Or maybe I am just too weird for my own good. :D

I would take a different position and say that it matters very little whether we exist or not. And it matters even less if YOU exist independantly of me. Which I am not absoutely convinced of (your existance).

We believe that we exist, or at least I do. And we act according to that perception. We are subordinate to certain Laws of nature and we experience things and take actions with the unconscious asumption that we exist and that our experiences and actions matter.

So whether we are Chinese Philosophers, or butterflies dreaming that we are Chinese Philosophers can only matter if that realization would allow us to alter the natural laws (I am talking about mostly physical laws here) of our Universe and so alter our ability to impact our environments.

If we somehow came to the realization that we didn't actually exist, and were not able to alter the rules of our perceived reality, we would just be an insane relfection of someone else's dream trapped in that same perceived reality bound by those same immutable Laws.

And very fucking unhappy!

So it really doesn't matter whether we exist or not except maybe to our state of mental health.

I will say only one thing DA HA!

My Local open moto was Cogito Ergo Sum!

I think, Therefore I am!

We are what we are until we go to dust!

Being physcho is not enuff, but working daily with the crainial rectose people that you have to work with and see daily

I sometimes come to wonder if that the Phyc people people work with that type of person, do they not pick up the same traits?

What becomes of them!?

Until yourself be true!:D
