Good Bad or Something In Between?

A California Court ruled that the pledge of allegiance is unconstitutional because of the phrase " one nation under God".
Yet this country was founded on Christian principles. Am I the only one who finds this highly ridiculous as well as ironic?
What do you think?

Remember that the words "under God" were not inserted until 1954 by Congress. That means that there are MANY people living today who originally learned the pledge without that phrase. Our Constitution guarantees religious freedom and we live under a separation of church and state.

I wouldn't care if the phrase "under God" is removed from the pledge of allegiance because I still have the right to call the Supreme Being that I believe in God, just as our Muslim brothers and sisters have the right to call their's Allah.

People are going to believe what they chose to believe regardless of what some court says. May relatioship with My Savior will remain srong no matter how the Pledge of Allegiance is worded. However, I do think that the government's effort to remove any semblance of religion from everyday life has become a little ridiculous.

Please believe that I will still put my right hand over my chest and say "one nation, under God", and so will my children, and my children's children...
