Big Fat Greek Weddings (No, Not the Movie!)
 

Since June is a favorite month for weddings and love is in the air...I pose the question:

How many inter-Greek weddings--that you know of--has your system produced? For instance, in my 3 years at San Francisco State, our teeny-tiny Greek system sparked:

4 Alpha Gam-Sig Ep weddings
1 Alpha Gam-Phi Tau wedding
1 Alpha Phi-Sig Ep wedding
1 Phi Sig-Sig Ep wedding
And 2 legacies so far!

Of course, these are just the weddings that *I* know about...I'm sure there are more that I haven't been around for!

So, I would like to know--how many happily-ever-afters at your school? :)

More than I can count. I think most of the greeks tended to stick together...

Within my own group of friends/family there are a few I can think of: my cousin (Beta Theta Pi) married a Kappa Kappa Gamma; a past chapter advisor was married to a Kappa Sigma and 2 of my sorority sisters are getting married this year: one to an Alpha Delta Phi and the other a Sigma Chi. As far as UBC's greek system goes, I'm not sure, but I would guess there have been a few.

Well.....
1) My (almost) in laws were kappa alpha theta and kappa sigma

2) (almost) mother in laws parents were delta gamma and beta theta pi

3) Pi Kappa Phi married and Alpha Phi a few years ago.

4) Our friend who is a Pi Kappa Phi married a Chi Omega last year.

and finally my favorite....

5) I am marrying a Pi Kappa Phi in a few months.
