I cant stand people talking shit!

Someone please tell me we are not the only ones who have girls come up to us and say, "Your a Pike? Dont you rape girls and slip them GHB?".......... That shit pisses me off more than when they say...... "Oh are you on stereiods?"..........

1 time my ex-girlfriend and I went out, got exteremly drunk and when she came home she passed out on her drive way, fell flat on her face. I was even worse and surprised i didnt already pass out. I tried to pick her up and throw her over my shoulders +++(she was only 100 pounds)++++, but everytime i went down i almost lost my balance. So i dropped her a couple of times, once on her door knob (her eye hit it). The next morning i thought something was wrong with my eyes and didnt notice her face. A few minutes later i saw she had 2 black eyes and a bruise on the side of her face.....

For 3 weeks both her and I had people constantly coming up to us asking if I beat her up and if i gave her GHB......I even had girls in her chapter bitch me out for it. I mean non stop this crap went on and on. We'd be out with our friends and i would hear people passing by make a comment about her face and then say something like, "Oh her boyfriends a Pike" .When i tried one dude he denied he said it. What was worse was one of her stupid sisters tried to make her think I could have done it and she wouldnt remember me beating her up because of the GHB. All I will say is, that one sister of hers, got an ear full that night.

I just want to know if any of you go through shit like us brothers at UF.

Your vulgaritiy is not appreciated. As a Brother, please, stop talking like this. Alpha Eta is a great chapter and others are going to get the impression that they act and talk like you. Love ya, brother, but shape up.

P.S. Do you know Kyle King???? I'm actually good friends with him and I know he was one of the founder brothers who helped re-colonize the chapter at Florida State.......

At our chapter we dont have many problems like that. I have never heard of anyone being accused of date-rape or anything. The only thing people say bad about us is that we're cocky. But after winning greek week 8 yrs in a row, homecoming king 18 times in 20 years, highest membership in any greek org on campus, oldest active fraternity on campus, highest GPA ...........yada yada yada, you get the idea that pikes are the best!

If i cant be myself around you guys, who then can i be myself around..... I know girls read our board, but who cares? Like honestly, most sorority girls get on my nerves, only because they talk so much shit about being one way, but at the late night gatherings their another way.....Many of them are hypocritical, "Oh i dont do this and I dont do that" but mean while their the ones bringing shit into your place at 3:00am and their the ones you have to tell to chill the fuck out.

To be fair, rape is a serious accusation and Pi Kappa Alpha is not the only fraternity at UF to have gotten such unwanted attention. I can think of at least one other house that got in trouble this past year because something allegedly went down at one of their latenights between a girl and a NON-BROTHER. All it takes is one bad story to circulate (doesn't even matter if a brother is involved)and suddenly a fraternity (or sorority) is branded. It cooled off but I was impressed that the Greek community didn't condemn this house. Chapter presidents were asked to inform their houses of what was going on and dispel any untrue information.

And UF_Pike, I'm very sorry people think such terrible things about your chapter, but we've all heard the rumors and seriously, they'll die off sooner or later. The reality is that anyone is capable of doing something as horrible as rape, and it's stupid for girls to get defensive with Pikes and then feel completely safe with everyone else.

In response to what you said.... about the Pike chapter here at UF... I have heard a lot of stories and what not about the raping and GHB and etc but personally have never had any bad experiences! One of my sisters has a few friends in Pike and when we were there for a late night a few weeks ago they were really nice and eveyone they introduced us to seemed very friendly. If fact I met a few Pikes the other night after an event and they were really nice too. Maybe some people have had bad experiences but I think that people shouldn't rely so much on rumors and just give everyone a chance. I think there are always going to be some people who have ill-will towards certain fraternities, you just have to make that call for yourself and from your own experiences, not from rumors.

Rumors circulate all the time about every sorority and fraternity. It does really suck, but as long as your brotherhood knows the truth and continues to believe in your fraternity, none of that matters. People who are jealous love to try and tear down groups all the time.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Pikes I have met. We didn't have them at SFSU, but I've met brothers from UOP. I clearly remember what one of my sisters used to always say, "I'm gonna marry a PIKE one day because they're so fine!" All the PIKEs I have met have been gentlemen! :D
