Bids and Being Preferred
 

This may be common knowledge for everyone else but me,but, just for clarification - how do you find out how high your bid is and which sororoty you are preferred by?

i don't think you'll ever find out how high you were on the bid list, unless a sister tells you after the fact (which they're probably not supposed to do). i guess if you preffed a house, and got a bid somewhere else, you weren't on the top half of your favorite house's bid list. most people never find out their exact rank, and i don't see what good it would do to know anyhow.

usually, any sorority that invites you to its pref night party would be willing to put you on its bid list. but, you can only receive 1 bid. the house where you get your bid was probably the house that wanted you the most. if you list one house as your top choice, and get a bid somewhere else, you weren't a top favorite at the first house.
