My mom always rags on me because I like ketchup but I absolutely hate tomatos. I am not crazy! They are completely different.

Does anyone else have something similar?

No, you're not alone!
I like tomato sauces/ tomatoes cooked in stews and soups but I hate raw tomatoes.
I like raw carrots but not cooked carrots!
They just taste different!

I am exactly the same way... Also, I love banana-flavored foods (pudding, ice cream, etc.), but I hate bananas. It's a texture thing! :D

I like sauteed onions, but not raw
I like garlic salt but not fresh garlic
I like seafood salad, but not fresh seafood
I like tuna fish salad, but not broiled tuna

I like tomato sauce, but I don't like tomatoes when they're still chunky.

I don't like the crunchy taste of raw onions, but I'll gladly eat then if they're sauteed. Oh, and I like onion rings.

I like raw fish (we call it poke) with soy sauce, green onions, and sesame oil. But I don't like the smell or taste of cooked fish.

I hate bananas(everything about them makes me nauseous..especially the smell) buti love banana bread..

Well and pizza, red meat fish, pork, lettuce, only in salad, Mexican,Sea Food, Bacon and Tomatoe sndwiches sans letuce!

Hate peas and other green crap! Like popey food!

Easy snack food---- Cut up carrots, celery, The white knobby stuff, radishes and mix beef and onion spoup mix in sour cream to make a dip! YUM YUM! Except celery strings get in the teeth!

lol, i know what you mean- i love avocados, but i do not like guacamole :)

I feel the oppostite @ GaintsChic. I like guacamole but not avocados.:D

I hate egg. I like egg nog and many other foods made with eggs, though.:rolleyes:
