Days Fans...Why is Chloe hospitalized?

Help! I haven't seen Days in ages. I caught the end of it yesterday and Chloe was in the hospital...why? And what is going on with Shawn and Belle?

Can't wait to hear!

Chloe is in the hospital b/c there is a chance that she could have leukimia (sp?) and Shawn and Belle are back together, and Shawn wants the both of them to go to Pepperdine, but Belle told him no and that she was going to Columbia.

as far as I know the leukemia was confirmed on Monday.

At the Last Blast Dance (I swear that last year's Last Blast was just yesterday..!), Chloe collapsed in Philip's arms. Craig and Nancy got the tests confirmed and it came out positive for Leukemia.

Shawn and Belle got back together after he FINALLY told her that Jan was raped by psycho Paul (that was his name, right?). At first Belle didn't believe Shawn when he said he never slept with her, but she eventually came around.

Jason and Cynthia were up to no good again as they planned to 'get' Philip and Shawn with water balloons, but Kevin and Mimi foiled their plan. In the end, Jason and Cynthia were kicked out of the dance by their fellow classmates. As a reward for her great deed, Mimi was allowed to dance the last dance with Kevin (she wasn't allowed to enjoy the dance as punishment for what she did last year). The couples were all together...until Chloe collapsed.
