Need help!!!
Ok, lately I have been wondering about joining a service fraternity/org. I looked on my school's website and it was pretty useless.........does anyone have any tips on how I should go about figuring this out?? Also, I can join one even though I am in an NPC org., right? Ok thanks everyone!!! :D

You can join a service org even though you're already in a social GLO. One of my sisters is also a member of APO.
I never joined a service GLO, so all I can tell you is what APO on my campus advertised as their rush process. Once a semester, they organized several open community service projects that anyone could participate in, so as to meet prospective members. Then I believe they just invited certain people to join. |
Hey,
I'm one of the new Greek Life Graduate Assistants at Mizzou as of July 8th. Although, I didn't do my undergrad at Mizzou, I can try to help you with this. I found this site for you. http://students.missouri.edu/article.php?sid=5#service Also, not listed is an honors service fraternity called Phi Sigma Pi. I'm finishing up my job in KC, and one of our interns is the new President for Phi Sig Pi at Eastern Illinois. Here is the Mizzou chapter site. www.geocities.com/phisigmapiatmu Hope that helps!! And hopefully we'll meet this year in the Greek Life Office. Congrats on a successful year for Phi Mu. -Keri |
phi sigma pi
I know the Phi Sigma Pi chapter at my school was an Honor Fraternity. I joined my Freshmen year, but ended up not having enough time with my sorority and major keeping me so busy. I know they chose new initiates based on GPA, though.
Other than that I don't know about any service orgs. Sorry I can't be of more help. LIOB, Tara :) |

Though I go to a different UM campus, I know a lot of great AFWs at UMC. Perhaps you can obtain info about the org. from the student activities office. |
