AGD "Business" Cards
Yea..I just got my cards...couldn't think of what was in the padded envelope from another AGD..
The Atl. Panhellenic Association or whatever had a fundraiser. It's got my Name and AGD (greek letters) on the left, upper right are red and yellow roses. My address/email phone is in the lower right. Cool!! Now who am I going to give them too? ;) :D LiEP, Lynn |
They did business cards as a fundraiser? That's such a cute idea! How many did you get?

Oooh, me, me!!! I want to see your business card!
That's a really cute idea...instead of constantly whipping out pen and paper to write down your name & number, just give them your personal card. (Didn't we used to have those back in the olden days? I think they were actually called "calling cards." Will someone more etiquette-savvy chime in and let me know if I'm recalling correctly?) Anyway, have fun with the cards! :D |
Yup, calling cards is right.
I've always wanted to have my own cards like that, but they're ridiculously expensive to get printed up on your own, and the free ones you can get on the internet for signing up for whatever website of the week are always cruddy. That is such a neat idea for a fundraiser... I love it! |
$10 for 50 cards
I think, lol.

They're also called social cards, mostly used by women who didn't work but were involved in charities, community projects, etc.

Those cards would have really come in handy last week when I was in Vegas and just HAD to leave a note on that car with the Alpha Gam license frame.
Would've been a lot classier to jot a quick note on the back of my card than shredding off a piece of my rental car contract because I couldn't find a darn piece of paper. Oh well. As a sister, I'm sure she understood. Are they still available for sale? I'd love to purchase some. |
