SAE on Comedy Central
 

I know a couple people saw the Boston episode of [I] Insomniac with Dave Attell. If you didn't see it, part of the night includes a party at an SAE's house. I don't know if it was the SAE house, or just the party house. I was wondering if there are any Boston SAEs on here. Did you guys get in any trouble w/ nat'l or the university because of the alcohol or "wacky tobaccy" bongs?

Dave Attell has the best job in the whole world. :)

I thought the show was hilarious. People need to cool down and have alittle fun.

Oh, the party looked alright, but I wouldn't let any cameras in on our parties. Dave gets paid to travel to different cities and drink beer. He's like the "Zagat's Guide to Bars Worldwide."

I saw that episode a while back too. I didn't see anything bad going on though, it was just a party with drinking. I don't know for sure, but the policy on drinking is enforced differently from college to college. As long as you obey the law, then you probably don't get in trouble with your orgs. I don't remember seeing any letters on the house when Dave went inside, but perhaps there were and I just wasn't paying attention. Overall, looked pretty harmless to me, in fact, it was a positive promo IMO...

I know that chapter pretty well - they're off-campus at their university. Pretty cool guys, good parties. They didn't get in any huge trouble b/c of the show, I can't remember why but there was some reason for it (maybe b/c they're sub rosa?).

As far as I know, chapter didn't get in any trouble. That particular chapter has huge support from alumni, as well as from SAE national. If any trouble had come of it, would have heard about it by now.
