Meet your husband, wife, girlfriend, or boyfriend? If you don't mind, please share how.

I met my husband in 1992 at a corner grocery store. It was love at first sight. Actually, I really didn't want to go to the store, but my aunt and cousin insisted. I was all uncoordinated--my hair was not proper and my clothes were not matching. And he was oily because he had finished working on his car. (Ain't it something you can meet somebody when you are looking your worst) :) Anyhoo we have been married for ten years this year with two children and it's going strong.

i met my boyfriend of almost 2 years at his dad's law office like six years ago.

i was a rising senior in high school working as a summertime receptionist and he was a rising sophomore in college home for the summer. we said brief hellos and that was about it.

three years later and two failed attempts at dating each other, he called me during thanksgiving while i was in college and he was in law school. it was love and happiness after that.

Being stood up is not always a bad thing...
 

I met my husband in 1994 at an after work party. The funny part is that the guy I was dating at the time was supposed to meet me there and never showed up.

I met my significant other of 3 years on a black college tour. Coincidentally, when we met each other we were both planning to attend the same HBCU. It has been love ever since and I hope the love lasts for an eternity.

I met my husband on October 11, 1995 in a chat room called Net Noir on AOL.

The topic of discussion was entrepeneurship. He said Hi and I responded. After huge phone bills and a few visits, the rest they say is history :-)

We were married on July 26, 1997 and have a beautiful 2 year old son.

I met my fiance on our college campus by the union. My roommate introduced us because they were from the same town. I remember thinking he was very sweet and quiet. I should have known better from the fact he was from the same place as my roommate.

I met my cutie on BlackPlanet of all places....so far so good...He's keeping a huge smile on my face! :D

All these marriage tales are making me wistful... shhhh, don't tell nobody. :o

Anyway, I met my boyfriend last year in the SUB (student union). It was one of those random intros that led to nothing but kinda speaking when we saw each other. I was always attracted, but then we finally had a real conversation and I decided I liked him. After about a week of keeping it a secret, my dean told me one of her friends had a crush on me and it turned out to be him. Yeah, I know, it was that kinda middle school hookup, but whatever. That was January, and it's been on ever since - amazingly, this is my longest relationship to date. :)
