Corporate Sponsors and/or Partners
 

I've visited DST's National website numberous times but I don't recall noticing any information regarding corporate sponsors or partners who help in funding and fostering the programming within the five point thrust. I tried to get on the National site before posting just to make sure I didn't overlook any information but the site is currently unavailable. So, I'm coming to the members who frequent the Greekchat message boards. Do you all have coorporate sponsorships or partnerships?

The National Website is under the auspices of the National President...She made a decision not to provide "advertising" on the site.

As a result, there have been only two "corporate" logos ever displayed on the site... Lawrys (for the recent collegiate awrds) and GE (for the Leadership-Delta program)... and both were removed as soon as the programs were over.

If you attend the convention, you'll probably see banners with the logos of corporate sponsors.. but I doubt if you'll ever see that type of material on the national website.

I was wondering if the information would be displayed becuase I've noticed sponsorships and partnerships on other national websites. Again, thanks for the information.

One of our biggest supporters is Coca-Cola... they really did right by us in Chicago... they sponsored the Collegiate Luncheon... not only was it the best meal of the convention (Shrimp Gumbo with huge shrimp), but they also gave each of us at the luncheon a rose corsage, various Coca-Cola trinkets, and a stuffed Coca-Coca polar bear beanie baby....

They will be sponsoring it again at this convention, so that's a major incentive to attend the Collegiate Luncheon!

Also, it doesn't hurt that our soror, Ingrid Saunders-Jones, is Senior VP of Corporate and External Affairs, as well as Chair of the Coca-Cola Foundation!
