Local Rush
 

Hey Locals!

Just curious...do you Rush with all the sororities on your campus or do you Rush alone?

We Rush WITH the other sororities.

What do you mean when you say rush with/out the other sororities?!

Everyone on our campus does rush at the same time, but there are rarely any events that include multiple sororities at once. There have been too many times when other sororities have accuesd others of "stealing" their rush! I don't get it...rush is supposed to be a time to find out about EVERY org...but the other sororities on campus don't see it our way.

Anyway, there are only 2 events I can think of that include all the sororities (mainly it's either just us or us and another fraternity): our bi-annual Scavenger Hunt (which is open to all Greeks!) and the Sigma Chi wine and cheese (which is an informal event for us....as we keep our formal rush events dry)

Some local sororities hold rush by themselves. We rush with the NPC sororities on our campus.

At my school every org. has a table out in front of the student union for the first two weeks or so of classes (we NPC have one all together) for people to get information about each org. Then about two weeks later is rush and NPC does our thing and the locals each do theirs, but it's usually during the same week, although no events are held together. :)
