Rescued Badges!!!
Today I was plundering around a favorite antique store, and found 3 badges belonging to Kappa Kappa Gamma, Phi Mu, and Kappa Delta. I purchased all three for safe keeping. Since my sorority is a local service sorority we give badges back to our university chapter. I'm not sure what protocol is for national chapters, I like to see these badges back to there rightful place. If anyone has any suggestion please post or Pm me. I bought them to keep them off E-Bay.
Thanks, Heather |
"No matter the letter...we're all Greek together.." is really true--and you can tell just by reading this post.
I'm sure you'll get responses from the GCers on this board from those respective organizations, but you can also visit their national website to get appropriate contact information. If for some reason, an Alpha Gam Badge finds its way to an antique store, I really hope that a kind person just like you will be there to rescue it! |
Thank you so much for saving a Phi Mu badge. That's awesome of you to go beyond and do that for another sorority. I cannot speak for Phi Mu, but I'm sure they are thankful also.

Hey all,
Just an update on the badges I've rescued. The Kappa Delta badge has a new home with a friend/cousin who is a KD. The Phi Mu badges is with the Phi Mu Chapter at Western Kentucky. I still have the Kappa Kappa Gamma badge, I am trying to locate a girl from UK. All is going great. Thanks for all the advice. The dealer I got the badges from promised to give me first dibs on all badges so hopefully more will badges will go back to their rightful places. Love and Sisterhood, Heather |
