I'm back!!! Sorta...
 

Well, Earthlink Atlanta went down on May 30th and was still down when we left for Canada on Sat. Got back last night and tried to log in again....BOOO!! Earthlink Atlanta is down again. (Wonder if I can get a rebate??)

Anyway, I'm at the local library trying to check on y'all and my email (which Earthlink Atlanta won't let me into still) so I won't tie up the computer with My Canadian Adventure:D

Short version...hour delays out of Atlanta and Buffalo. Great time in a foreign country. Beautiful. Mainly saw "American type" food except something I won't give my exact thoughts of but will describe it as "fries, gravy and cheese". I think the correct spelling is poutine but I had a differerent one.;) I did have another "food" at the Buffalo, NY airport,"beef on a weck", roast beef on a pumperknickel/onion/lots of salt bun..one bite and I only ate the roast beef. And y'all say grits are gross!;) :D

Anyway, I'll let y'all know if Earthlink ever lets me log in at home again.

Do you mean to tell us that you went to Buffalo and did not have buffalo wings at Duff's or the Anchor Bar? Blasphemy!!!! :p

So glad to see you back here, Lynn! I totally forgot that you were going to be out of town! :)

On a really positive note, last night I met Lori (ThetaDeltaPrez), her fiance, and fiance's little brother last night!! In addition to the three, I also met Rebecca (Starlet--a DG from Maryland-College Park) and her twin sister (also a DG!). It was a big Greek party for us at the Zanzabar Club last night! It's neat how they're in town at the same time!

So, again, I say..if any of you are ever from Hawaii...let me know because I'll show you a good time!!! ;)

It was working by the time I got home about 3 hours later..of course, I had to wait ANOTHER hour until hubby got off.

Maria, we had talked about going to the Anchor Bar but never made it. Duff's is still there. Tom made a comment that his parents used to go there on their dates!!

Nina, we've got DSL free thanks to SGI. I don't want to dump EL (okay, I really do) but I don't want to lose the email address. It's been spread around the world, lol.

SANDY FORGOT ME!! ;) :p

Whew, back in the real world....will post more about NF, Canada later!

so...you have DSL at home.......?

Yup! In our last house, we had 3 different telephone lines (reg. phone, computer line and hubby's computer line) coming into the house. When we moved in a little over a year ago, we switched from 3 to 2 lines (regular and DSL/computer). I think it saves about $50 a month????

The problem was that Earthlink Atlanta was having network problems. So we're up for now....
