Tax Credit for the costs of racism?
 

More than 100,000 African-American taxpayers have filed for--and many erroneously received--refunds because they claimed a discrimination tax credit. And though they didn't get to keep the money, their actions raise the following point: "Should Blacks get a tax credit for the costs of racism?"

nope, cuz aint enough money in the world to compensate for the BS we go thru on the daily....:mad:

I think b/c there would be too much work to do in order to get the money. How do you prove that you are DIRECTLY descended from slaves? What constitutes proof? Personally I dont WANT any $$ from the government. What good will that do me now? NO amount of money or apology can undo what was done to my ancestors (African, Cherokee and Piscataway) anyway, so why bother?

If I did get the money, though, I'd buy a house (or put it in savings to do so) and put some away for my daughter's education..
