Hey gals...I just wanted to write a quick note to say congrats to some sisters from my chapter. One of our girls here at Mizzou, Kayla, is in the Miss Missouri Pageant this week and we are SOOOO excited for her!! Also, another girl, Elle, is in the Miss Hawaiin (sp?) Tropics contest . I know both of these girls will do AMAZING, but I'd just like to say good luck at tell you guys I love you!!!!

I just found out that the new Miss Louisiana is a Phi Mu. Her name is Casey Crowder. Also, a sister at Alpha Lambda (Louisiana Tech) was just crowned Ms Dixie Gem Peach. She will be going to Miss Louisiana in 2003. Turns out her coordinators are in charge of Miss Teen Louisiana. Go Krystal Pennuell! We love you!

Hey ladies, I have competed in pageants since I was five and now I compete in the Miss America pageant system. My mother also puts on a local pageant. She had talk about giving all the money she gets from it, to my sorority. I was hoping to get many of my sisters involved too. I also start my Miss America pageants again this summer. So wish me luck. You will find alot of Miss Americas were in a sorority, it might be something you are interested in. And good luck to all your sisters who compete! :D

UDZETA, that's so awesome that you compete in the MAO! I competed for two years, and I loved it. I learned so much and grew so much as a person. You're right, that a lot of Miss Americas (and TONS of Miss States) are in a sorority...I can think of three SAIs (including the current Miss America) off the top of my head. Anyway, good luck in your pursuit of the crown!
