Does your NPHC work

What does your NPHC do on your campus? Do you guys have an active role? Who is stonger, you or IFC or NPC or whoever? If your NPHC does work, why do you think? If not, why not?

My campus currently does not have an NPHC although we have every org except 3. We are currently under a Multicultural Greek Council which includes NPHC, Latino, Asian and South Asian organizations. This is our first year as a MGC and we are working together pretty well. We are the largest council on campus but I don't think our presence is felt as much as it should be. But we are on a predominately white campus so its an ongoing batttle.

At my school the NPHC doesnt work at all, constant infighting caused by a myriad a personal relationships gone sour. Constant backtalk and shadiness make it virtually impossible to conduct any projects as a whole. Lets not even get into community serivce its drama throwing a party up here. Every org. just does whatever they can to top the next org instead of everyone uplifting each other on a predominantly white campus. The purpose of NPHC is lost on my campus and at the current state there is no advantage to even having one. Since my neos are schooled wisely in Sigma, they will have enough dignity to not get involved in that mess.

The NPHC chapter on our campus does work for the betterment of not only the school campus, but for the uplifting of our community. I think that was the main purpose of creating the NPHC as a whole, and on our campus, we do just that. All of our Greeks participate in community service, and other activities on and off our yard.
