Felicidades!!
I have a BA in Spanish, too!! I'm going to use it at my new job, too!! You will be surprised what you can do with it in the mean time before you go to graduate school. Send you resume to all the freelance translation/interpretation companies!! You'll get calls here and there, and it pays well! Hospitals always need interpreters. They also usually have an outside consultant of some sort get them, so you may be able to get a listing of organizations (most of them social service based) that use translators. Keep your eyes open... contract out your services... a lot of business are translating some of their literature into other languages, and you can do that on the side. Girl, email me if you want to discuss!! But you really will be suprised what God will drop in your lap! :)

Congrats to YOU!!!!
I'm SO proud of you! You did it! But that's not the end--now there's grad school (I tell ya--school never ends!)...But at least you're almost done (and you've finished the heard part!) ;)

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S!
Fellow 2002 graduate! I too graduated this year with a Bachelor of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University last Saturday. Girl...it's an awesome feeling. I'm taking a year off from school before going back to get my Masters in Public Administration/Public Policy. I'm working now for the Office of the Secretary of Constituent Services as a Governor's intern. |
