Update on Chandra Levy
 

CNN say that the FBI has found her body at last. Sad but at least her parents can truely grieve now.

Did CNN say anything else about the investigation?

HMM they changed it to may be her body now but think its likely. Guess we will see.....

Not yet its breaking news , but they are discussing it right now.

Fox news says they found a skull. They also found clothing like Chandra had.

They also say it was found at the park that she looked up on here computer right before she dsappeared.

I just heard on the radio that there is a chance it might be Chandra Levy, but they are running DNA tests on the body to find out for sure.

This is a very unfortunate occurance, whether it is the remains of Chandra Levy or not.

Question:
It was announced that the authorities have been in contact with the Levy family and they are distraught about the situation. Would the authorities have notified Chandra Levy's parents prior to going public with this information since it isn't certain that it is Chandra Levy? If they did, would they have contacted the families of other missing people from the area? (Just curious as to how a high profile case would be treated when compared to low-key, locally-known cases)

Hummm, good question, It wiuldn't seem fair not to contact other families if there were other descriptions that could match.

Yes, I realize that, however, you also wrote confirmed in the Subject Header of this thread which is the first thing everybody sees......
