Friends?
 

Ok, I know that AlphaChiOmy touched on this subject when she moved (yes, I can do a search ;) ) but my question is a little different.

I'm still basically in the same town I grew up in. What would you all suggest as ways to make new friends? I work with all older people (I'll be 26 in July) and its come to be that most of my friends are friends of my boy-person. I'd like to feel that I have some friends of "my own". I still talk to two people from high school in the area, but one has such a crazy schedule that we can never get together and the other lives a good 50 minutes away. I'm feeling rather desperate!

I attempted to get out! I live in Grosse Pointe now but will be back in the stomping grounds for a reception at the Grecian Center next weekend!
