FarmHouse was on CMT :D
I also know our chapter was invited to a new greek reality series.
We probably won't do it. But did anyone else get that packet in the mail?

A more important question to ask yourself youngin is...do you want to stay chartered???

Personally, wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot pole. Do a few searches on gc. You'll soon see that no one wants to do a real reality show on greeks. they want the drama and what sells. thats the whole breaking rules thing. Not worth my badge to me. Celebrity isnt worth it. My letters are more important. my rec, steer way clear.

I know MTV wants to do a series on Greek life, but all of our chapters were told not to talk to them. For good reason, too...I agree that they're not looking to portray real Greek life, but rather an updated version of "Animal House."

If ya'll really want to do it and are worried about your charter, etc.. I'd suggest you contact your national office.

I'll bet money that they'll tell you not to do it.

My only worry with this MTV thing is that if all the quality chapters refuse to do it, everyone's worst fears will be realized.

The only chapters left that are actually interested in doing an MTV special will be IN NO WAY good representatives of what fraternity and sorority life is all about.

SOMEONE will end up doing this special and I'd personally rather see a chapter that shows members supporting eachother, etc rather than night after night of keg stands and fighting.
