Quote of the Day!
From UCSD's "Guardian"
"Police to enforce 'zero tolerance' at Sun God" --Safety is officials' top priority "There are usually several factors that we look for in situations of public intoxication," said officer John Smart. "It's a combination of signs that include being passed out, vomiting in the bushes or making a scene." :eek: Officer Smart; You sir, are a GENIUS!!! |
And they let this guy carry a gun, too.
|
Wow, how wonderful!!
|
Are these campus police or the local police?
|
The UCSD Police are an actual precient of the San Diego Police Department.
::shakes head in disbelief:: |
I actually feel bad for the police officers. When thousands of college students go out and some get drunk, it causes all sorts of problems. There have been riots at colleges when teams win championships. The problems can include alcohol poisoning, vandalism, arson, assaults, and drunk driving. I'm not sure what's going on where you are, but the police are probably trying to prevent or avoid these problems. It's community safety. Stay safe and have fun!

Hey, you still get the Guardian?
Well, I will let you all know how it goes! :D |
duh
Ha ha, that reminds me of the time someone cut down one of the ugly ass steel statues beside our student center. The head of Pubic (I mean Public) Safety deduced that it had been done with "some type of powerful saw."
Thanks, braniac. I'm glad to know you figured out that I didn't do it using my nail clippers. |

Happy Sun God!!! I was reading Guardian online cause I was bored and curious to see if they got any good bands this year. Glad to see they got Cake. My last year was when they had Dishwalla. No excitement for that; so I volunteered to work. I was a shuttle driver and I think I had way more fun hauling everyone around on the bus than if I'd gone to the concert. :D |
