What are everyones plans for the summer and goals for the next year?
 

:cool: Ok, Thetas and whoever else is on here! I was just wondering what everyones plans for the summer and goals for next year are. The threads looked old and I decided to bring some life into the Thetas! so here are my plans for the summer and I am excited to hear about everyone elses!

This summer I am taking summer school and working. Also my mom is taking me to Cancun for a week! I am really excited about that. My goals for next year are to make even better grades than I did this year and to make it my best year yet in Theta. (ok, so it is only my second year, but I am so excited I cannot even believe I have to wait three months to see all my sisters together again!) Anyways, another goal of mine for next year is not to go insane with all the classes I am going to be taking. And to make our Second Annual Smackdown Volleyball tournament even better than the first one! Well I guess this is all for me! I hope to be posting more soon because I love the idea of this message board to vent or let your feelings be known and of course to just socialize with other sisters at other schools!

Hey Kate,
How are you? My plans for this summer are babysitting for my neighbors for part of the summer and then working the rest of the summer. My goals for next year are to get better grades and, as always, to find a major and stick with it!!:p
I don't have any vacation plans yet, but I'm sure I'll go somewhere.

Thanks for replying! I think this forum needs to have a fire lit somewhere! I would love to talk to some of my sisters from other schools more often! So tell your sisters to get on here too! :)

My plans for the summer are to find a job that I don't hate!! I've been a server at the same restaurant for three years...and I hate it with a passion...it was supposed to be temporary when I started there!!!

My plans for the summer are to work and to take and pass with an A Clinical Microbiology to prepare me for the nursing program in the Fall. Having said that for the rest of the year, I'll continue to prepare for nursing, volunteering when I can, enjoying church, being a Theta and AKPsi alumnae/alumni, and advising my chapter.


I also plan to redo the interior of my home and possibly add some fish and a lizard or a turtle to the family :)

It's funny... I think it took a good 5-6 years after graduation for me to quit getting all excited to see summer coming up. It's not like I get summers off anymore!!

I own my own small biz & summer is a very busy season for me. We are also getting back into fostering homeless dogs. Those two things keep me running :)
