Congrats to the new LCs!
Does anyone find it unusual that two are from the same chapter? |
I've never seen that before! I guess that means that these girls were exceptional! :)
Congratulations, and get your bags packed, ladies! |
hey, i've been wondering. since i transfered i technically had to go alum. however, do you think it would be possible for me to apply for an LC position? hmmmmmm...i think it would be fun.

Congrats to the 2002-2003 LC's!
Nope its not unusual. I think the 2001-2002 ones had two girls from Southern Illinois University on the team. I know when I visited my chapter for I-day,one of the girls was telling me that they had two (maybe it was a LC and a LA) from that chapter, and thought it was odd. More odd because our old LC (Heather Estes :) ) was from the SIU chapter. |
The two girls from the SIU chapter were both LCs. I know one of em was Jenny, who I had the pleasure of meeting at the last Convention. I can't remember the other one, though. I don't see anything weird about two girls coming from the same chapter at all!

I found it rare that not only two are from the same chapter but are from Mu (Brenau) and are LCs. This is because that chapter and school are so small. I don't think there are more than 500 undergrads at Brenau. Not to mention there are probably only 40 girls tops in the chapters there. I went to school there.

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before (maybe last year), but what are the requirements for applying to be an LC?
|
I know that for just putting an application the only real "requirement" is that you are in your first year or so out of college.
The application just ask you question like, what do you feel you can contribute? What positions did you hold? What can you get from being an LC? Why do you want to be an LC? And general information. What are the requirements that IHQ (Director of Chapter Services to be exact) is looking for after that? Who knows :) |
Just means...

If you are interested in the LC/LA positions - the best person to talk to is Lisa Williams at IHQ. :) |

i think it rocks that we've got some LC's coming from smaller chapters. it will be a fresh perspective, especially with recruitment.
