This board is so positive
 

I've checked out the Alphagam.net board, and there seems to be a lot of negativity going around on that one - bad things happen but it makes things worse when people are ugly to one another. I have to admit that I love this board, much more outpouring of sisterhood from everyone. Everyone is so helpful and supportive, a true reflection of what sisterhood should be. Thank you everyone for leading by example, you lift my spirits every day!

Amy, I have to agree! I used to post on AlphaGam.net before I discovered GC and, you're right, it was often times negative. A few people from AlphaGam.net have wandered onto GC from time to time, but many of them retreat to AlphaGam.net...maybe they just like the drama!

For me, I love our happy GC Community! ;)

Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again (and I'll say it until I'm probably blue in the face!): sometimes its easy to forget that these are public forums and we should always put our best foot forward!

That's not to say we should put on happy faces and hide any issues that we might be having. But there is a constructive way to solve disagreements, as well as destructive. As for me, I find that you generally get to a happy resolution a lot faster if you're not attacking people!

I love our little GC community! :) I wish more sisters would join us here--or better yet--take some of this positive AGD vibe and spread it all over!

Yeaaa for us! I love posting here. I definitly DO NOT like drama, too much of it in my life at this point in time!!:)

Ack! I just looked over at the alphagam.net board for the first time in a few weeks and the negativity is running rampant again! I think that it's time for the happy GC Alpha Gams to go over there and try to cheer up the sisters and give some constructive advice.

I do have to admit that the people on here are really positive. I had heard a lot about all the AGD girls that are on here and that they were all such sweethearts. Slowly you are all showing me that too. I'm very happy that I'm able to see what other chapters are run and what their members are like. I had no questions about making the right decision on going AGD because of my chapter and now I have no questions about joining AGD as an international. :D Way to make me proud to be AGD!!!

I visited AlphaGam.net this morning and I was so happy to come "home" to GC. Thank you all for the happy, and (mostly) peaceful chatting experience! :)

I would love to chat with you all some time. Do we have a set or scheduled time when we all meet to chat either here or on the IHQ site?

I know that we had weekly chats in the Alpha Gam GC chat room on Wednesdays at 9pm EST, and we always had great turnout. Unfortunately, these past few months I've been working out of the office on Wednesdays and can't make it home in time to attend.

Are any of the other GC Alpha Gams still chatting on Wednesdays? If not, we should start up a chat night again...I miss talking all together regularly!!! :(
