Okay after a discussion about this, I must know...does anyone else turn closed captioning on when they watch tv? I realized just now that I am not the only one! If you have never done it, you should try. It is hilarious! Sound effects are the funniest! And music videos? They crack me up! Especially rap and R&B where the captioners struggle to comprehend the vernacular of urban America.

***Please note, I do not mean this to be insensitive in any way to the hearing impaired. I know closed captioning provides a great service to those who need it, and I don't mean to belittle it in that aspect***

No, the words move too fast for me, PLUS, they get in my way. I cannot see the "picture" LMAO.

They would help when trying to get the "words" to those songs.

LOL, yeah they do move fast...It also came up in my discussion how easy it is to be so entertained by the closed captioning, you lose sight of the original programming in the first place! :eek: :D LOL

Try it during any basic R&B song. Pure comedy!
