A tip/recommendation for soft feet!

A couple of years ago a few of my cousins and I were discussing how to keep your feet soft and pretty. They told me their secret, which I quickly began to do. It works! Here is what you do:

1. For a few minutes every evening right before you get into bed, massage "Jergens all-purpose face cream" all over your feet.
2. Put some socks on, to keep the cream from making a mess on your sheets, etc.

When you wake up in the morning, your feet will feel magnificent! You can get the face cream in the facial cleansing section at your local grocery store for about $3.00 or so. It only takes about 3-5 minutes for the application process and is definitely worth those few minutes! (Sounds as if I am trying to sell a product here. Ha! I am not, I promise.)

I just thought that some of you may be interested in doing this since it is summer and it is the time for flip-flops, thongs, chanclas or whatever it is you want to call them. :) Of course, you can do this all year round to keep your feet soft and pretty. I do!

I have a tip

You can do the same thing with Vaseline/Petroleum Jelly as well. I do it especially in the winter when the elements are a lot harsher.

A co-worker swears by Lubriderm the lotion as well.

:D

I do the vaseline bit, also you can do that for your hands as well and it will make your hands extra smooth. Also for smooth skin period, use Coco Butter lotion as a base and then put on your other lotions. Like I use like 5 lotions in the morning, cause I use the Jergens Naturally Smooth Lotion(the shave one) and then Nivea` Extra Enriched Lotion and then a Milk based lotion by avon(cheap but excellebt stuff)

I pumice the hell out of my feet and then wear lotion and socks to bed. I like to pumice my feet to get the dead stuff off and the best thing I've found for my feet is this stuff by Mary Kay that is actually also for your face...I'll have to go find my jar, but it's kinda gliceran like...very greasy feeling, but when you wake up, your feet are SO soft it's unbelievable!

Yeah, the Jergens all-purpose face cream has a greasy feeling. Washing my hands after putting it on my feet is like washing butter off of my hands. I would never put this face cream on my face.

Okay. So I forgot to report back.

I did this last week. I used Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil Gel.

Then I put socks on and slept through the night.

It was hard to get the stuff off of my feet, but they looked as if they had been treated to a paraffin dip! It was really nice, and no need to do it every night or anything! I changed the polish on my toes and it looked like a brand new salon pedicure even though it had been over a month since my last one.

I usually do the Vaseline treatment. Usually works pretty well.
