Red Bar and Other Hangouts....
 

I was curious if any of you GCers have ever been to the Red Bar in Grayton Beach, Fla. which is between Destin and Seaside.

It's a huge hangout for the college crowd. I love it. The walls are decoupaged with French movie posters and other art deco kinda stuff. Inside there are two dining areas, one with a Jazz Quartet and a stand up bar that plays French jazz.

On a summer night you have to wait about an hour and half to get in, but there are so many peeps in and around the place its more of a social event. Across the street is a Zoo Gallery with all kinds of neat artsy things.

When I go to Flordia I usually make a point of going there for dinner one night and bump into people I know and meet sisters from other chapters. Most people around here seem to know of it and go there. The food is good (not great), but inexpensive.

Hey Blue Eyes! I have never been there- but am planning on making it to that coast sometime this summer. You'll have to give me directions to it!! :D
