Chi O Meeting
 

Ok ya'll, I have to share: I was shopping at the Limited today, and this saleslady was helping me find stuff, and when I was done, she got me a dressing room. I get in the room ,and she's like-if you need anything, let me know, blah blah-and then right as she's shutting the door, she goes, "Us Chi O's have to stick together". (I was wearing a shirt from one of our Crush parties). I was like, ok-and then I realized what she said, and I was like, "Wait!! You're a Chi Omega??" . She said she was, and that she had pledged at West TX State, and then transferred to UT-El Paso...or maybe it was the other way around. But she said that this was waaaay back in the day( I think she was in her 30's).

It was very cool, I just had to share!! Go Chi O!! :p :D

I always love meeting Chi Os from different chapters!! They seem to be everywhere too!! I met a Chi O from FSU at a bar downtown-very cool girl. I also realized my supervisor at work is a Chi O from SWT. One random night in Key West, I was walking to the bathroom, and I am not sure how it came up, but there were 4 of us waiting in line, and the 4 of us were Chi Os from 4 different schools. I thought that was pretty cool. :D

I meet Chi-Os all the time when I go to Florida. Last time I went I met some from Ole Miss, Miss. St., Tenn., and Alabama in different groups in and around a place called the Red Bar in Grayton Beach. If any of you are in or near Destin you have to go there. On a busy Friday or Sat. the wait is about an hour or more, but they have a Jazz quartet, a bar, and a Zoo Gallery. I love it...:)

I met a Chi Omega tonight while working. This girl and her fiancee came in and I started helping them pick out their wedding bands. I was on the phone with my owner getting a better price, when another girl saw my customer and they started talking. I overheard my customer tell her fiancee that this girl was her sorority sister.
So I got off the phone and asked her which sorority she was in...and of course she was a CHI OMEGA! I was like, OMG, I'm an Alumna (so was she). She went to UNL (our Kappa chapter). She knows my good friend Becky Smith (former Miss Nebraska). Her name is Anne and she now lives in Omaha. I'm going to see if I can't get her to come to Alumna events with me :) She was drop dead gorgeous and so sweet (of course, what else would a Chi-O be?)!

So... I went to my post office box today and I got a fabulous package from my mom- Two identical wooden OWLS!!!! (I plan on giving one to my big) So, I squeal (I admit, not very lady-like)"I got Owls!!!!" From behind the counter, an alum said something like, come over here and let me see them! I give her a good look and realize she's an alum! (I met her a LONG time ago- I just didn't notice her). So, we spent time bonding over owls... good times, good times!
