Summer living.
 

Do any of you live in your houses over the summer...or even thave the option to?

At knox, we rent out the rooms to the brothers for about $25 a month, and $135 to non-brothers. This helps pay for summer bills and whatnot. (which are signifigantly lower than during the year, though the satalite tv still runs a pretty penny).

At K-State, we are not allowed to live in the house at all! For instance, finals week is next week.....we have to be out of the house by 4:00pm on Sunday and it will be locked all summer until August 17th. We will not even know the code to the doors. I think it is kind of cool that you guys can live in over the summer.

we can live in our house, over the summer also. we also charge summer dues of $125.00 per person. The rent is something like $250.00 a month but you get reduced semester dues if you live in the house.
