Another badge on ebay
 

Hey I just wanted to let you guys know that there is another badge on ebay that I am trying to "rescue". It shows the bidder as "private" and I am not sure why but I am bidding on it.

I want to keep the cost down so if you want the badge let me knwo and I will stop bidding on it, other wise I will bid until I know the other persons are alpha gams.

Usually the seller chooses to make their auction "private" in hopes of attracting buyers who would like to purchase the item but would like to keep their identity private. It's common in fake label merchandise, porno, and other interesting auctions :P

Well, at least it's been a while since one of our badges went up...I feel bad for sororities like Chi O who almost always have a badge up on Ebay.

On a happy note, I just bought the cutest AGD lapel pin on ebay!

Marissa ("bid day shirt freak" :) )...there is a cute one up for auction from Miami U.

I bought one of those lapel pins yesterday off of eBay!

Well, I dont like the private thingy!! I am no longer the high bidder and I have no way of finding out if the other bidders are alpha gams!!

I dont want to pay alot!! But I dont want it to go to anyone but an Alpha Gam either!!!!:mad: :mad:

This breaks my heart & makes me SO mad! I'm pretty sure "dogboy1950" (the highest bidder as of now) is not an alpha gam.

Well, the new bidder on that badge is dr4image...anyone hear of this person? At least the cost is very low right now, so if we don't bid on it til the end of the auction, perhaps we can save it.

The private auction badge is an Alpha Gam selling her own badge... she said she made it private, so she can be sure it goes to another Alpha Gam.....

If I'm not mistaken, I remember dr4image...and I believe she's a member of an NPC sorority. I can't remember which one, but she collects em and turns around and sells em!

There is an Alpha Gam on www.alphagam.net that is interested in selling a pendant necklace because she said it is too big for her..but she didn't mention a badge to go with it.

If the seller is an Alpha Gam, why doesn't she contact her chapter? (or read the rules of badge purchases elsewhere on the AGD discussionb board).

First, why is she selling it?? Does she not know she shouldnt. Second, I would think making it private would make it harder to identify a sister bidding??
