Mother's Day Ideas

What do I get for the woman that has everything?

I know how you feel. Well my mom has these paintings through her house by Annie Lee. Well she now makes figurines of the paintings, so I started purchasing the figurines for my mom about 2 years ago, and she absolutely loves them.

basically...

I'm gonna give my mom some STAR GAZER LILLIES FROM 1-800-FLOWERS, AGAIN, I GOT HER HOOKED ON THAT, and a locket with her children and grandchild picture in it, She's been wanting one for so long, So I guess I'll break down and get it for her.:D

For my mom....

She's going to get two things:

1. A ticket to a dinner honoring her former JHS teacher; she's been wanting to get in touch with her to say hello, but she never did. The dinner costs $75  , but I'm willing to do it for her, she deserves it. :D ;)

2. Birthday/Mother's Day cards (her b'day's the day before Mother's Day) I'm getting her the cards early b/c I'l be in the Queen City of Charlotte to attend my cousin's graduation (he goes to Johnson C. Smith University) for the weekend.

Note: Last year, I bought my mother her cards, a pair of black slacks and two blouses; one pink and the other light blue. She loved them. I believe that clothing is great if you know your mother's clothing size. :D :p

I totally understand how you feel.

My Mom has EVERYTHING that she wants.

All she wants is her life, health, strength, healthy children and a loving family plus her favorite perfume. ;)

Clothes is a good idea too. :)

A few years ago I gave my Mom a weekend in the City. We live in NYC and she needed a break from the four of us (her children) so I rented a hotel room in Times Square for a weekend and she had a blast.

Hmmm.....that's another idea.

Also for those of you whose Mom loves Juniors Cheescake, you can send her one for Mom's Day. 1-800-JUNIORS.

:D

This DOES sound like a great idea! I might try it, but next year, not this year....:D :D :D

I'm actually taking my mother to a really nice brunch. According to the advertisement, they'll have ice sculptures and all, LOL.

I think nice outings are good for Moms who have everything!

Stick with the classic choice. Buy her clothes.
This year I bought my mother a 2 piece dress suit (casual) with matching earring (royal blue), a long slip, 2 pairs of panties, and pair of pantyhose. The only things I did not buy were a pair of shoes and a bra.

I hope this help some!!!

I think I'm just gonna spend some quality time with my mother. We don't see each other very often and we talk on the phone only a little bit more. This Mother's Day will be hard on the family since my grandmother just passed a week and half ago so I think quality time will be the best gift I can give her.

My prayers go out for you and your family. If your Mom likes flowers give her a beautiful bouquet and yes...quality time will be the best gift.

Peace & Blessings to you and yours

:)
